Introduction
To ensure clarity on our mutual commitments, we ask you to read and approve the contents of this document before we begin planning together.
Our cancellation terms are stricter than those of some of our suppliers, as venues and vendors in Italy often require non-refundable deposits. Once your retreat is confirmed, much of the design and coordination work will have already been completed; our cancellation policy reflects this commitment and is non-negotiable.
Project Fee
The first step of the proposal phase is an initial execution plan and a related quote, offered free of charge. All rates and availability shared at this stage are subject to change until a deposit is made and written confirmation is received.
The second step is the preparation of a detailed itinerary and vendor plan, which we begin only after formal acceptance of the offer and receipt of the agreed deposit. This deposit is non-refundable and covers the work of sourcing, holding, and contracting venues and services on your behalf.
Balance Payment
The full balance must be paid no later than 45 days before the start of the retreat. For last-minute bookings (where the retreat begins in 45 days or less), full payment is required immediately upon acceptance of the proposal.
Currency
All quotes are provided in EUR.
Your Retreat
Once the balance has been paid, we will send the final itinerary, vendor confirmations, and on-the-ground documentation by email. All documents are issued in digital format only; printed vouchers are not required at check-in.
Refunds
- Written cancellation 31 days or more before the retreat: 75% refund
- Written cancellation 30 to 15 days before the retreat: 50% refund
- Written cancellation 14 to 8 days before the retreat: 25% refund
- No refunds will be issued for cancellations made 7 days or fewer before the retreat.
Our Responsibility
Laurand Atelier acts as an intermediary service provider between you and the venues, practitioners, chefs, drivers, and other suppliers involved in your retreat. If any service included in your retreat is cancelled due to force majeure, weather conditions, or a supplier failing to deliver the contracted service, we will support you in finding alternatives or in requesting a refund from the supplier. However, suppliers—not Laurand Atelier—are legally responsible for the services they provide.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that both you (as the organiser) and your retreat guests arrange appropriate event-cancellation and travel insurance before the retreat begins. Laurand Atelier can provide the documentation required for insurance claims, but our cancellation policy remains non-negotiable.
